Visiting cousin M and her family camping....

These are pics from G's first camping expedition. My cousin M and her family were out at the campground so we paid a visit. G went swimming with all his cousins. If M sends some pics, I'll post them. We also sat around a campfire and made smores...which were so yummy!

Backyard fun!

This is one reason the girls like being at our house. They can jump in the pool when it's nice and hot outside. Uncle A enjoys tossing them in the air like little rag dolls. K (the little one) is a fish trapped in a little girls body. She absolutely loves swimming and she is great at it. She will stay in there all day if I let her, I always have to drag her out to

No more training wheels...

A couple of Sundays ago I taught K how to ride a bike w/o training wheels. We decided to use N's old bike b/c K's chain keeps falling off her bike. No matter what she is doing K is always striking a pose....she is such a girly girl.

Showing off her new riding gear.

T keeping a close eye on her.

Oh no....on the way down.

She won't look at me b/c falling isn't

Jamaica more...

It's over...I can't threaten A with deportation ever When he acts up I just have to grin and bare it. On Wednesday July 16, 2008 A was sworn in as a U.S. citizen in downtown Grand Rapids. It was an emotional day for some odd reason. I'm glad G and I picked him up and were able to share the experience with him. Here are some pics of the day...

A day at the park...

Since our family went from just A and I too...A and I, G and now T and K our household is crazy busy! We are trying our hardest to make the best of everything and really get involved with the kids and their lives. These are from early June but I thought I'd share them with ya. We've gone to the park a few times...I like to take a book and read while G sleeps under a shade tree and the girls play. Right now I'm reading The Memory Keeper's far so good. We also pack lunches and have picnics. A bought us both new cameras this year so we've been taking pictures galore!

I'm addicted to blogging....

Ok, maybe not just blogging. I'm addicted to IVFC and Baby Center and My Space (although lately I have not been on). Poor A just rolls his eyes when he sees me sit down at my compoopitter. I'm usually up until 1am just surfing or posting messages to all my cyber friends.
Anyhooo, since we received our family pictures Monday, I thought...why not post them. These are G's 3 month pictures and our first family portrait. I can't believe in just over a month we will be ready to get his 6 month pics done.
I am excited about G getting so big, it's just so bittersweet because I love love him being a baby. The months just seem to be flying by....Well here are some pics of our family. Hope you enjoy!

Here are some pics of our vacation. We had so much fun. There were a total of 12 of us and of that 8 were adults. G was an absolute joy. Oh believe me, G has his days but on vacation he was a little angel. It probably had something to do with the fact that the minute I would set him down someone would pick him up. He had all the attention his little heart
We stayed at Summer Bay Resort which was about 10 minutes from Disney. It was beautiful, there was so much to do during the day. And at night they usually had a DJ or karaoke at night. I have to admit there were some great singers, of course I didn't want to show them up. I'll post some pics of Disney and Animal Kingdom soon...

First time going to a birthday party....

So, this is my new blog spot. I'm really excited to start sharing the most important part of my life...MY FAMILY! I hope you enjoy the little tid bits of our everyday life. I will also be posting tons of pics...G is the light of our lives, we are so proud and blessed.
Today was a gorgeous day. We awoke to nothing but sunshine. My friend Lacey's son celebrated his 3rd birthday today. This was the first time G attended a birthday party. We had a great time. I can't wait to throw G a birthday party. Can you believe G will be 5 months on July 16th, he is becoming such a big boy so fast.
