Jamaica mon...no more...

It's over...I can't threaten A with deportation ever again...lol. When he acts up I just have to grin and bare it. On Wednesday July 16, 2008 A was sworn in as a U.S. citizen in downtown Grand Rapids. It was an emotional day for some odd reason. I'm glad G and I picked him up and were able to share the experience with him. Here are some pics of the day...

Just getting to the Gerald R. Ford Museum

Waiting in line to sign in...

The ceremony is about to start.

"Hi my name is A. G...I'm from Jamaica.

I swear to be an upstanding citizen.

All done....with Judge Paul Maloney.
