I bought this chair at a garage sale about two months ago for $8. It turned out exactly how I envisioned it. It was hard work but worth it. I feel really good sitting in it, I guess I'm proud that I didn't give up on it. A lot of people were like, OMG - D, we need to see that when you are done...lol. They couldn't see the potential. Tell me what you think! BTW, I couldn't have done it without my honey bear...he provided all the muscle!

Below is one arm sanded and one after I stained it.

Double WOW! It looks incredible!! Was it hard to do or did it just take a lot of time or both? You did a great job and I love the color choice.

I'm impressed, Dee. Not only with your vision, but your motivation to get it done in the first place - and then your carry-through! I wish you could bottle that combo and send me some...I need it to start K's room!
Great job!!
