Dear Dee, As someone who helped raise my own nieces, I just want to tell you that the good you did for those girls will show up in many ways for many years to come. I had one niece who was easy and the other who was difficult. The difficult one is just now starting to show some of the results I feel she received from living with me for a period of time. She sent me a text telling me she loved me very much. It melted my heart and was a long way from the mean things she used to tell me. I just always had to remember that they were hurting and keep doing the best that I could. Amanda, the oldest, asked me to walk her down the aisle at her February wedding. Talk about a wonderful experience. You have made a difference in their lives so even though it's with mixed feelings that they leave - please know that I admire and respect you and "A" for the help you gave them. It is definitely not easy. Love, -Terrie
After years of trying to conceive a child my husband, A and I decided to embark on the wonderful journey of adoption. This blog is dedicated to my son G, whom I adore with all my heart.
